Senior Bible Class is designed for 15-17 year olds.
Two minibuses collect the young people from Horsham and Roffey and return them home afterwards.
The young people begin by meeting with the Sunday School in the back hall for singing, prayer and news of the points competition and the coming week's activities, e.g. Adventure Club, Friday Club.
Once everyone divides into classes, the Bible Classes are held in the main hall where Bible teaching is given for the rest of the time.
Bible reading notes are provided free to the young people as we encourage daily reading of the Bible.
The young people receive points for bringing their Bibles, bringing friends and completing lesson worksheets. At the start of each term, there is a Points Shop where the young people can spend their points and obtain prizes such as sweets, stickers and pens. Attendance prizes are presented each year at the Prizegiving Service.
During the year, parents and friends are invited especially to family services at Christmas and Easter and to the Prizegiving Service in June and the Harvest Thanksgiving Service in September (please see Special Events). However, they are welcome every Sunday evening at our Gospel Service.
We encourage the young people to attend camps: 9-17 years old: Mid-Wessex Christian Camps; 11-15 years old: Thames Valley Christian Camps.
For those aged 15 and over, there are houseparties in the Spring and Autumn - please see Thames Valley Christian Camps.
The Bible Classes close during the Christmas and Summer holidays.
